Comesopas Win with Late Heroics
The Ceiba Comesopas picked up a win at Parquecito de Ceiba, taking down the Fajardo Camorristas, 4-3, in 14 innings. On the mound for Ceiba was right-hander Abdías Pérez. He played a central role in the triumph. Ceiba reliever Jesús Arche picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Mateo Rojas took the loss. The third-place Comesopas are 46-33.

With the game on the line, Tobías Fuentes came to bat in the bottom of the 14th. And the Ceiba shortstop came through, cracking a run-scoring single off Mateo Tafoya, the Fajardo pitcher.

"We battled our tails off to get this win," said Ceiba manager Ranulfo Hernández.
