Marinković Propels Naguabo to 6-1 Win
Naguabo took on Gurabo in front of a lively crowd.

Velimir Marinković, who leads the LJP with a 1.20 ERA, never let the Escaleras get in a groove. The right-hander used his bread and butter, his splitter, to pitch the Malditos to a win, 6-1. The triumph puts Naguabo at 62-20 for the season.

Marinković, now 18-2, scattered 5 hits over 9 innings for the Malditos.

"They had a good approach," Gurabo skipper Urayoán Monclova said of the opposition. "Hats off to them."
