Criptidos Win with Late Heroics
The Canovanas Criptidos used a stellar performance from pitcher Tarasio Gallo to throttle the Gurabo offense en route to an extra-inning, 2-1 win at Parquecito de Canóvanas. Gallo got the win, improving to 15-5. He gave up 8 hits and walked 3 over 10 innings. He allowed 1 run. The second-place Criptidos go to 61-23.

Oliver Rowland played the role of hero for Canovanas. In the bottom of the tenth, he launched a solo home run off Daniel Ávila to win the game. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was the decisive blow.

"We did just enough to win," Gallo said.
