The Canovanas Criptidos topped the Fajardo Camorristas, 7-2, in Liga José Padilla action at Parquecito de Fajardo. The game was highlighted by the performance of Canovanas pitcher Tarasio Gallo. Gallo, now 16-5, was the winner. In 9 innings, he gave up 9 hits, while striking out 11, walking 1, and allowing 2 runs.

The Criptidos got a lift from 21-year old catcher Conway Adams, who had a run-scoring double in the top of the fourth inning off Mateo Rojas. It was his 10th double of the season and put Canovanas in front, 1-0.

"We are some kind of hot right now," said Adams.

The Criptidos raised their record to 65-23.
