Miguel Lucio pitched a gem to lead Ponce to victory over the Penuelas Idiofonos, 3-1. By defeating Penuelas, the 8th-place Hidalgos improved to 46-43.

Lucio was in the zone all game. He frustrated Penuelas hitters while giving the Hidalgos 9 innings of quality work. Lucio threw 125 pitches, allowing 7 hits and getting 10 punchouts.
