Florida got a strong outing from Tulio González as the Estribaciones defeated the Guaynabo Cazadores, 8-2, at Parquecito de Guaynabo. Tarquino Romero picked up the save for Florida, his 1st of the year. Florida sits in 8th place in the Liga Mariana Bracetti División Arturo Schomburg at 39-51.

Florida used a clutch at-bat from Luis Baruffaldi to capture the win. The designated hitter hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Estribaciones ahead, 3-1. It was his lone hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

"We have a lot of confidence in Tulio," said Florida manager Luis Rodríguez.
