Guayanilla and Hormigueros got after it at Parquecito de Hormigueros.

The Guayanilla Tormentas scored a convincing win at Parquecito de Hormigueros, defeating the Hormigueros Companeros, 12-2. One of the hitting stars was 20-year old first baseman Aldo Martínez who went 3 for 5 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 4. Antonio Rocha was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 2 of 2 save opportunities.

With Guayanilla leading 3-0 in the top of the second, Martínez hit a fastball from Alfredo Chávez for a 3-run home run. It was his 6th home run of the season and put the Tormentas ahead, 6-0.
