Elián Buenrostro, who is tied for 6th in the LMB in complete games with 19, pitched well, but the Maricao Ristretti still fell short, losing, 3-2, to the Santa Isabel Petisos at Parquecito de Santa Isabel. After today's action, Santa Isabel sits at 31-60; Maricao slips to 57-34.

The two teams entertained the Parquecito de Santa Isabel crowd with some good baseball.

"You can't take yourself too seriously," Mendiola told the Santa Isabel Gazette. "But at the end of the day, we do play to win ballgames."
