The Vieques Zumbadorcitos earned a win at Parquecito de Juncos, knocking off the Juncos Chiringas, 6-2. On the bump for Vieques was right-hander Juan Sánchez. He had a starring role in the triumph. The loss makes Juncos 48-43.

Vieques won the game in part because of Marcial López. The left fielder ripped a 2-run home run in the top of the second inning to put the Zumbadorcitos ahead, 5-0. For the game, López had 1 double and 1 home run in 4 at-bats.

"We're in a little bit of a dry spell," said Juncos manager Esteban López.
