The skies opened up and the rain fell at Parquecito de Canóvanas.
The Canovanas Criptidos got great pitching from 19-year old left-handed pitcher Helio Madruga, allowing them to bump off the Naguabo Malditos, 4-1. The Criptidos have now won 4 straight.
Federico Bruno was 1 for 3 with a walk. He drove in 2 runs for Canovanas. The 21-year old second baseman had a key at-bat in the bottom of the third. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 1-1 tie with a 2-run single off Morris Hawthorne. It was his 34th hit of the season.
