Arrecostaos Turn Back Escaleras, 3-2

The Trujillo Alto Arrecostaos picked up a win at Parquecito de Trujillo Alto, knocking off the Gurabo Escaleras, 3-2. On the mound for Trujillo Alto was right-hander Abejundio Chávez. He played a key role in the triumph. Otilio Sánchez closed out the game, earning his 3rd save. Trujillo Alto currently is in 11th place in the Liga José Padilla División Rosendo Matienzo Cintrón at 35-57.
The Arrecostaos got a lift from left fielder Clive Hughes, who in the bottom of the third hit a 3-run home run. His 6th home run of the season put the Arrecostaos on top, 3-0.
"We made a couple of mistakes," said Gurabo skipper Urayoán Monclova, "and it cost us."
