El Marenguito played host to some real drama.

The Yauco Napoleonicos got a scintillating performance from pitcher Xyzzy Plugh, who shut out the Guanica Panas, 1-0. Plugh, now 11-7, was the winner. In 9 innings, he gave up 3 hits, while striking out 10, walking 0, and allowing no runs.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the ninth. With one out, Plugh hit a fastball from Neo Berndsson for a run-scoring single. The Napoleonicos, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"What can you say about Xyzzy?" said Yauco manager Evaristo Martínez. "He was pretty incredible."

The Napoleonicos now have a record of 52-41 with the win over Guanica.
