The skies opened up and the rain fell at Parquecito de Las Piedras.
Las Piedras turned a good effort from starter Martín Saenz into a win over the Humacao Aguaceros at Parquecito de Las Piedras. The Peritos won the game, 7-2. The 7th-place Peritos now have a win-loss record of 51-43.
Armando Cancino was vital to the Las Piedras win. He went 2 for 4 with 2 singles and a walk. In the bottom of the first with two out, Cancino hit a run-scoring single. It made the score 2-0, in favor of the Peritos.
"Winning is not something we take for granted," Cancino said.
