Ceiba Rallies to 6-4 Win
The Ceiba Comesopas defeated the Loiza Pleneros, 6-4, in 12 innings. Doing his part was catcher Nicolás Maldonado, who was 4-5 with 4 singles and a walk, while scoring 2 runs. The Comesopas saw their win-loss record go to 56-38. At the same time, the Pleneros fell to 29-65.

Ceiba got a knockout punch from Enrique Cárdenas. The designated hitter hammered a 2-run home run in the bottom of the 12th inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.

Cárdenas offered a curt "no comment" when asked to discuss the win after the game.
