The Ceiba Comesopas and Naguabo Malditos obliged fans hoping for an exciting game.

Bermudo Aguinaga had a good game, but he could not keep the Naguabo Malditos from falling, 5-4, to the Ceiba Comesopas at Parquecito de Ceiba. The Naguabo second baseman went 3 for 5 with a double and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once in the loss. The Comesopas now own a record of 45-50.

Rubén Díaz found himself in a pressure situation in the bottom of the eighth. Facing Naguabo hurler Morris Hawthorne, the 19-year-old left fielder hit a sacrifice fly. His 19th RBI of the season put the Comesopas on top, 5-4.

"We'll try to build on that win," Díaz told the Ceiba Observer.
