Clutch Hitting Delivers Win for Industriales
Fans were not deterred by the threat of rain. They came to see their hometown Valencia Industriales take on the Barquisimeto Crepusculares.

The Valencia Industriales had to overcome a big game from Barquisimeto center fielder Raúl Castillo to leave Campo de Valencia with a victory. And they did, winning, 7-6, in 10 innings. Castillo was 4 for 6 with 2 doubles and 2 singles, while scoring 3 runs. Valencia is now 30-26.

The defining moment came in the bottom of the tenth for Valencia. That's when Matías Torres hit a run-scoring double off 1909 Excelentísimo (LBPV) winner Esteban Delgado to win the game. The home crowd went wild.

"We'll pop the top on a cold beverage and get back to work tomorrow," Torres said.
