The Barquisimeto Crepusculares and Barinas Viajeros provided some drama for the home crowd.

The Barinas Viajeros downed the Barquisimeto Crepusculares, 7-6, at Barquisimeto Stadium. Julio César Cárdenas led the way, going 3-for-4 for Barinas. The Viajeros win now puts them at 39-42.

With Barinas leading 2-0 in the top of the first, Cárdenas hit a fastball from Mateus Balieiro for a bases-clearing triple. It was his 4th triple of the season and put the Viajeros ahead, 5-0.

"You can't hate how you win if you win," said Barinas skipper Samuel Morales.
