The Coro Bizantinos used a great performance from Zacarías Nájera, who led the LE in wins with 21 in 1907, to beat the Valencia Industriales, 3-1, at Campo de Valencia. Noé Jiménez earned his 4th save, after closing out the game. At 32-40, the Bizantinos find themselves in last place in the Liga Oeste.

Coro relied on the bat of Martín García to get the win. The left fielder ripped a run-scoring triple in the top of the fifth inning to put the Bizantinos ahead, 2-0. For the game, García had 1 double and 1 triple in 4 at-bats.

García told a Coro Today reporter that he was "gratified" with the win.
