A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Barquisimeto Crepusculares and Valencia Industriales.

The Barquisimeto Crepusculares topped the Valencia Industriales, 11-1, in Liga Oeste action at Barquisimeto Stadium. The standout performance belonged to Barquisimeto pitcher and Fajardo, Puerto Rico, native Evaristo Adauto. Adauto got the win, improving to 6-10. He gave up 7 hits and walked 3 over 8 innings. He allowed 1 run.

Raúl Castillo hit a 2-run double off Baltasar Flores in the bottom of the first, which put the Crepusculares in front, 2-0. In addition to the double, Castillo had 1 single, while going 2 for 5.
