Torpeda Suffer Humbling Loss
The Bratislava Bojovnitsi routed the Rijeka Torpeda, 13-2, at Jadransko Stadion. Rubén Collado, who is tied for 6th in the OLK in doubles with 8, was one of the hitting stars. He was 3-6 with a double and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 4 for Bratislava. Bratislava now has a record of 28-9 with the win.

With Bratislava leading 3-1 in the top of the fifth, Collado hit a 2-run single off Rijeka hurler Dragisa Subasic. It was the 23rd hit of the season for Collado and put his team ahead, 5-1.

"Not my idea of a good time," Rijeka manager Don Meyer said, when asked afterward about the game.
