Everything clicked on the hill for Cesar Arfè, as he hurled the Bolzano Dolomiti to a shutout win, 7-0, over the Magdeburg Halbkugeln, limiting them to 8 hits while recording 16 strikeouts and yielding 1 walk. He overpowered some batters with fastballs and buckled knees with sharp breaking pitches.

"We had our shot at him a couple of different times," Halbkugeln manager Erasmo Almodovar said. "We just weren't able to get to him."
