Conditions were not ideal but Bolzano and Magdeburg were able to put their game in the books.

Bolzano right-hander Vittorio Gambachini pitched his team to victory over the Magdeburg Halbkugeln at Halbkugeln-Stadion. The final score was 7-1. In 9 innings, Gambachini surrendered 8 hits, while striking out 4 and walking 2. He allowed 1 run.
