Late Heroics Net Schaeffler 4-3 Win

Fans were treated to a whale of a game between the Munich Schaeffler and Regensburg Zusteller.
Despite a fine performance by first baseman Eligius Brown, the Regensburg Zusteller lost to the Munich Schaeffler, 4-3. Brown went 3-4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. Munich is now 46-52, Regensburg 36-62.
Up to bat in the bottom of the tenth, 28-year old second baseman Leonhard Cooper had a chance to be the hero. Regensburg pitcher Stephan Luhrman had other ideas. But with one out, Cooper hit a sacrifice fly. The Schaeffler had themselves a dramatic win.
"Feels good to be on the winning side," said Cooper.
