The Regensburg Zusteller reigned over the Munich Schaeffler in damp conditions.

Regensburg registered a win at Schaeffler-Park by beating the Munich Schaeffler, 6-2. Pitcher Nevin Young was one reason why the Zusteller triumphed. Endres Wodarg earned the save for Regensburg, his 3rd of the year.

In the top of the fourth, Regensburg designated hitter Lettelin Hirsch whacked a fastball to right-center for a 2-run home run. His 3rd home run of the season put the Zusteller in front, 2-0.

In postgame remarks, Young said: "To all who've been doubting my effort -- I hope they saw this game."

The 6th-place Schaeffler now sit at 44-57.
