The Venezia Mascherati topped the Rijeka Torpeda, 6-4, in Ostlicher Kreis action at Campo di Carnavale. The game was highlighted by the performance of Venezia pitcher Renzo Manin. The setback makes Rijeka 51-63.

The Mascherati got a lift from center fielder Balbino Martínez, who in the bottom of the first hit a 2-run double. His 12th double of the season put the Mascherati on top, 4-0.

"Renzo was in tempo tonight," said Venezia skipper Aldo Díaz.
