Dolomiti Handed 6-2 Defeat

Not everyone stuck through the 31-minute rain delay, but those who did went home happy.
Gerrit Miller helped his team muscle past the Bolzano Dolomiti, 6-2. In the game, the Munich first baseman went 2 for 3 with a double and a walk. He drove in 4 runs. Erasmus Flemming got the win, improving to 6-16. He held the Dolomiti to 2 runs on 6 hits over 6 innings, while striking out 5 and walking 4. Picking up his 1st save was 20-year old right-handed pitcher Fritz Miller.
With Munich leading 1-0 in the bottom of the first, Miller hit a 2-run single off Bolzano hurler Verdiano Loria. It was the 84th hit of the season for Miller and put his team ahead, 3-0.
"Our approach was just to try to see something over the plate and be aggressive," Miller told the Munich Gazette.
The 'W' lifts Munich's record to 52-67.
