Medardo Crosby of the Angostura Amargados was cool and collected on the mound, leading his club to a shutout victory over the Cumana Atunes, 13-0.

"He was mixing his pitches real well and keeping his composure on the mound," Angostura manager Stephen Macdonald said later. "When Medardo does that, good things happen."

The right-hander had 3 strikeouts, no walks and allowed 2 hits in the win.
