The skies opened up and the rain fell at Barquisimeto Stadium.

Barquisimeto pitcher Ángel Novoa did his part in helping his team beat the Barinas Viajeros, 6-3. The right-hander kept opposing batters from doing too much damage. The second-place Crepusculares now have a win-loss record of 55-53.

The Crepusculares benefited from an error in the bottom of the first inning. Barquisimeto was leading 2-1 when Raúl Castillo hit a 2-run single that was misplayed. It put Barquisimeto in front, 4-1.

"It feels good to get this one," Castillo told the Barquisimeto Observer.
