Dedicated fans weathered the storm to watch their beloved Cunaguaros beat the Amargados.

Nueva Esparta shortstop Ismael Arenas had 4 ribbies while helping his team defeat the Angostura Amargados, 6-3. Polideuco Velázquez snagged the win in relief. The left-hander allowed 1 run on 4 hits over 5.2 innings. He's now 10-17 on the season.

Arenas had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the eighth. On a 2-1 fastball from Pedro Saiz, he banged a 3-run home run to center, giving the Cunaguaros a 5-3 lead. It was the 1st home run of the year for Arenas.

Arenas attributed the win to "everyone pulling their weight."
