The Maracay Jardineros could not turn a fine performance from pitcher Reginaldo Alonso into a win. Instead, the Barquisimeto Crepusculares prevailed, 5-4. Alonso threw 9.0 innings of 7-hit ball. The Crepusculares now have a record of 54-65.

Ladislao Díaz went 1-4 with a double against the Jardineros. With the game tied in the top of the tenth inning, he hit a sacrifice fly that put Barquisimeto in front, 5-4.
