Streaking Timoneles Win Another One, 9-2
Puerto La Cruz and Angostura took Mother Nature's best shot and still managed to complete their ballgame.

Puerto La Cruz Timoneles starter Florentino Cruz pitched a strong game against the Angostura Amargados at Estadio de Puerto La Cruz, leading the Timoneles to victory, 9-2. The winning pitcher was Cruz, now 22-10. He tossed 9 innings of 5-hit ball, while walking 3 and fanning 3.

The two teams provided some entertaining baseball for the Estadio de Puerto La Cruz crowd. Regardless of the outcome, a good time was had by all.

"Florentino had a little bit of everything going," said Timoneles manager Egidio Martínez. "Really sharp performance."

Puerto La Cruz is now 80-52, while Angostura is 67-64.
