Angostura and Puerto La Cruz took Mother Nature's best shot and still managed to complete their ballgame.

The Angostura Amargados downed the Puerto La Cruz Timoneles, 4-3, at Estadio de Angostura. Édgar Velásquez led the way, going 3-for-5 for Angostura. Angostura is now 60-72.

The clutch at-bat in the bottom of the ninth belonged to Velásquez. Facing Aldomiro González with runners on 2nd and 3rd, the Angostura second baseman had a run-scoring single. Game over, walk-off style!

Velásquez told a Angostura Chronicle reporter that he was "very happy" with the win.
