The Maracaibo Independientes picked up a win at Estadio de Maracaibo, knocking off the Valencia Industriales, 3-2. Starting pitcher Práxedes Vega was a big reason why. With the game tied in the bottom of the fifth inning, Vega had a clutch at-bat. That's when he hit a sacrifice fly to give the Independientes a 2-1 lead.
