The Patillas Panaderos moved to within one game of the Campeonato Veraniego de Principiantes, downing the Naguabo Malditos on the road at El Círculo Noveno by a score of 12-2. Panaderos catcher Gareth Elliott was 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 doubles. He scored 2 times and drove in 4. The win gives the Panaderos a 2-1 advantage in the best-of-5 Campeonato de las Ligas.
Elliott had an important at-bat with runners on 1st and 2nd in the top of the sixth, when he hit a 3-run home run. The Panaderos went on to win.
