Spirited fans greeted the Bolzano Dolomiti for their clash with the Stuttgart Vergaser.

Cesar Arfè pitched well enough to win, but it was not to be. The Bolzano Dolomiti, despite Arfè's fine outing, dropped a 3-2 decision to the Stuttgart Vergaser at Stadio degli Dolomiti. The first-place Vergaser have a one-game lead in their division.

Lear Weiss, who is tied for 9th in the WLK with a .268 batting average, chipped in a run-scoring walk for Stuttgart in the top of the ninth. For the game, the third baseman had 2 hits in 3 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 2 runs batted in.
