Saginaw Tops Sheboygan, 9-5, Claims 2-1 Series Lead
The Saginaw Joes moved to within one game of the Pennant Series, downing the Sheboygan Brats on the road at The Grill by a score of 9-5. Joes catcher Keith McIntyre was 4-4 with a double and 3 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. The win gives the Joes a 2-1 advantage in the best-of-5 Interleague Series.

Saginaw used the timely hitting of Biff Sheehan to seize the win. The right fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Joes on top, 6-5. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

"We'll take some time to unwind," said Sheehan, "and then get after it again."

The next game is set to be played for Tuesday, October 27th , 1908 at The Grill in Sheboygan.
