Rapids Rally Past Batteries to Claim 1-0 Series Lead
A clutch 9th inning gave the Sault Ste. Marie Rapids a walk-off win over the Halifax Batteries and a 1-0 lead in the National Championship of Canada at Rapids Park. Young shortstop Nicolás Feliciano, 24, earned kudos after he was 2-4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once.

Sault Ste. Marie got a knockout punch from Raúl Arreguín. The second baseman hammered a solo home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.

"This place was rocking at the end," Arreguín said.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Rapids Park in Sault Ste. Marie.
