Sault Ste. Marie Pins 6-1 Loss on Halifax
|
The Sault Ste. Marie Rapids got a strong performance from pitcher Lucas Galindo, who stymied the visiting Halifax Batteries en route to a win, 6-1, in Game 2 of the National Championship of Canada. The Batteries could never get a bead on the right-handed Galindo, who threw 9.0 innings of 3-hit ball. The Rapids now hold a 2-0 in the best-of-7 series.
Galindo delivered a quality start for Sault Ste. Marie. The 174 cm right-hander allowed 1 earned run on 3 hits over 9 innings of work.
