Sheboygan Wins Interleague Series
The sweet swing of Carmelo Mendoza has led his team through the Interleague Series.

The Sheboygan Brats star earned series MVP honors as his club downed the Saginaw Joes to advance to the Pennant Series.

The Brats won the final game at The Grill by a score of 4-2 and the series 3-2.

"I'm seeing the ball well and happy to contribute to a win," said Mendoza. "I hope it continues for the rest of the playoffs."

For the series, Mendoza hit .467 with a .556 on-base percentage. He had 0 home runs, drove in 4 RBI and scored 1 runs.

The Sheboygan Brats will play against the Marquette Smelters in the next round. Marquette won their series against the Duluth Zeniths 3 games to 0. The Pennant Series schedule will be announced after the Interleague Series finishes.
