The Mentor Rose Stockings are heading to the Pennant Series after a 3-0 sweep of the Norwalk Maples, capped off with a 7-6 win at The Rosebush.

"When you can put away a team like Norwalk early, you do it," said right-hander Bill Donovan, whose strong pitching performance earned him the nod as series MVP. "We're happy with the sweep and to move on without any drama."
