Brats Heading to Championship of the Great Lakes
It took a while, but the Sheboygan Brats finally disposed of the Marquette Smelters 3-1 in the series clincher at Pig Iron Stadium.

Winning the finale gave the Brats the series, 4-3. They will now advance to the Championship of the Great Lakes.

The Most Valuable Player Award went to Sheboygan left fielder Eduardo Encinias. He batted .345 in the series, collecting 6 RBIs and scoring 6 runs.

The Sheboygan Brats don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Mentor Rose Stockings - Irondequoit Peach Kings series. Mentor leads the series 3 games to 2. The Championship of the Great Lakes schedule will be announced after the Pennant Series finishes.
