Sheboygan Wins at Home to Take 3-0 Lead in CoGL
The Sheboygan Brats are one game away from a sweep after downing the visiting Mentor Rose Stockings at The Grill, 9-2. Brats designated hitter Eduardo Encinias went 2-3 with 2 triples and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3. Sheboygan now holds a 3-0 advantage in the best-of-7 Championship of the Great Lakes.

Encinias contributed in the bottom of the first. With a runner on 1st, he hit a run-scoring triple. It was one at-bat among others that helped Sheboygan get the win.

"They say the first rule of the playoffs is to win the home games," Encinias said afterward. "It feels nice, but it is kind of what we were supposed to do."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at The Grill in Sheboygan.
