Soneros Turn Back Escultores, 3-2

Hernán Martínez, who is a two-time Acutísimo (LBPC) winner, had a strong outing for the Santiago de Cuba Soneros against the Las Tunas Escultores at Estadio de los Escultores. The left-hander was a big part of his team's 3-2 win. The first-place Soneros bumped their record to 42-40.
The Soneros got a gift in the top of the fourth inning, when they were leading 1-0. With no one out and the bases loaded, Feliciano Rodríguez reached on an error by the 2B, driving in 1 run. It made the score 2-0, Santiago de Cuba.
"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Rodríguez told the Santiago de Cuba News.
