Escultores Lose as Martenos Stage Late Rally
Raúl Ozuna pitched well, but the Las Tunas Escultores still lost the game, falling, 4-3, to the Manzanillo Martenos at Campo de los Martenos. Víctor Rivera picked up the win in relief for Manzanillo, while Raúl Ozuna took the loss. Adrián Concepción recorded the save, his 1st.

Manzanillo took a 4-3 lead on Manuel Hinojosa's 5th double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Hinojosa hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Las Tunas pitcher Dalmacio Nájar visibly frustrated.

Hinojosa attributed the triumph to "a good team effort."

The 'W' lifts Manzanillo's record to 22-23.
