Tabacaleros Edge Past Tinajones, 3-2

The Trinidad Tabacaleros grabbed a win, 3-2, over the Camaguey Tinajones at Campo de los Tabacaleros. Trinidad first baseman Min-soo Kim went 1-2 with a home run and 3 walks. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. The winner in relief was Murrough Reynolds. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 2 innings. He now owns a record of 2-2. Trinidad leads the Torneo Oriental Camaguey by 7½ games.
When he batted in the bottom of the 12th, Oscar Abrego had a golden opportunity to change the game's outcome. Camaguey pitcher Marcelo Yáñez was determined not to let him. But with one out, Abrego hit a sacrifice fly -- and the Tabacaleros had a suspense-filled triumph.
"Anytime I can help the team, I feel good about it," said Abrego.
