Rodríguez Impressive in 2-0 Manzanillo Triumph

The Manzanillo Martenos beat the Bayamo Rafagas, 2-0, at Campo de los Martenos. Starting pitcher Juan Rodríguez was a big reason why. He held his opponent in check all game. Víctor Rivera wrapped it up, recording his 10th save. Manzanillo occupies third place in the Torneo Oriental Bayamo at 37-32.
Rodríguez was in the zone all game. He frustrated Bayamo hitters while giving the Martenos 7 innings of quality work. Rodríguez threw 101 pitches, allowing 3 hits and getting 6 punchouts.
