Escultores Use Late Rally to Win
The Las Tunas Escultores picked up a win at Estadio de los Escultores, downing the Trinidad Tabacaleros, 6-4. On the mound for Las Tunas was right-hander Constancio Hernández, who played a pivotal role in the win. The winner was Las Tunas reliever Ricardo Pinto, now 2-0. The loser was Herodes Medina. Natán Rivera notched his 5th save of the season.

Eumeo González drew 1 walk in his only trip to the plate for Las Tunas. In a tie game with one out in the bottom of the eighth, González came through with a run-scoring walk. It put the Escultores in front, 5-4.

"Constancio pitched like a champ," said Las Tunas manager Alberto Nevárez.

The 'W' lifts Las Tunas's record to 39-34.
