The Cienfuegos Elefantes and Habana Leones completed their game despite the rain.
Cienfuegos right fielder Desiderio Quiñones was instrumental in helping the Elefantes triumph, 8-4, over the Habana Leones. Quiñones was 3-3 with 3 singles and 2 walks. Cienfuegos now sports a record of 42-43.
With the game tied, 1-1, in the top of the fifth, Quiñones had a key at-bat for Cienfuegos. With runners on 1st and 3rd, Quiñones hit a run-scoring single off Odiseo Montoya, making the score 2-1, Elefantes.
