The Camaguey Tinajones captured an easy win, 12-2, over the Manzanillo Martenos at Parque de Camaguey. Manuel Rosales led the offensive barrage, going 4-for-4 for Camaguey. The Tinajones are now 40-45, while the Martenos fall to 51-37.

Pedro Valero had a big 2-run triple for the Tinajones in the bottom of the second inning. With Camaguey leading 1-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a splitter from Luis Suárez, who is tied for 9th in the TORI in wins with 9, and swatted a triple to right-center. It was his 8th triple of the season, and more importantly, it put the Tinajones ahead, 3-0.

"They beat us, they beat us soundly," said losing manager Bruce Lowry.
