Pitcher Casto Brana was sensational for the Manzanillo Martenos in his team's 3-1 triumph over the Las Tunas Escultores. Brana earned the win. After today's action, Manzanillo sits at 54-39; Las Tunas slips to 48-40.

Manuel Hinojosa, who finished 4th in the TORI in triples with 17 in 1913, aided the Manzanillo cause with a run-scoring walk in the bottom of the second. For the game, the center fielder went 1 for 2 with a walk.

"Winning is not something we take for granted," Hinojosa said.
